2010 Food Drive To Begin

The 2010 SCTC Summer Food Drive will begin on August 1. The event lasts until Friday, September 10 and culminates at the Customer Appreciation Day event. Annual Food Drive Is A Success - September 2009

The fifth annual Summer Food Drive for the Stayton Community Food Bank was a great success this year. The event, sponsored by Stayton Cooperative Telephone Company (SCTC), collected over 3600 pounds of food and $1,000 cash during the months of August and September. The event was community wide with over 30 local businesses and organizations participating. Edna Rickman, Director of the Food Bank, said, “We would like to thank SCTC and all these local businesses and organizations for their support and we hope that more will participate next year.” Any business or organization wishing to join the Food Drive in 2010 should call Mike Reding, Marketing Coordinator for SCTC, at 503-769-8807.
